What’s its purpose?
It is a certification (a self-certification) that is necessary to verify the right to assistance services.
All administrations can ask their users to give ISEE certification in in order to grant assistance services and to check that those asking for certain services are really entitled to. The whole family financial situation is to be stated according to stato di famiglia anagrafico – the registered family members situation. The previous year income and properties are verified up to December 31.
Services connected to ISEE are:
· Family benefits
· Maternity benefits
· Kindergarden and other childhood services
· School canteens
· School services (school books, grants, scholarships…)
· University grants
· Health care services and domicile health care
· Social and health care dayly and home services, etc
· Helps connected to fundamental services (light, heating, water, phone)
· Other benefits
ISEE certification lasts one full year from the day the form is given in on, unless changes do occur, such as a child birth.
