Flows decree enactment is about to come. The government is in fact to soon enforce the decree that will allow non-EU workers to come and work in Italy. Employment may be seasonal, subordinated and also as house-helper.
We everyday receive many questions, we are asked how to fill forms in, which are mandatory requisites, how application forms are to be given in.
We are well aware how precious information is: we therefore chose to try to publish everything we know about next flows decree in order to allow everyone to apply to such a complicated procedure.

. Housekeepers and health-care assistants - When someone wishes to employ housekeepers and health-care assistants, minimal wage is not required. Vice versa Home office will furnish instruction about employers’ income. Former instructions said that employers needed to earn at least 47,000€ a years when willing to employ housekeepers. Recent dispositions provide for that employers should prove that they earn twice as much as their employees.
. Part-time employment - Housekeepers and health-care assistants can be also part-time employed. They need to work at least twenty hours a week. Their pay-check is established on basis of minimal wage, which last year was 439€ a month.
. Housing suitability - In order to apply to flows decree, employers will just need to declare that workers can prove to have a suitable accommodation.
They won’t need to show proof of the lodging when applying to the decree. When workers will come to Italy, they will have to prove that they live in a place that respects regional laws on housing. It will be employers’ duty to refer to the Council’s logistics office (or to Asl) and to ask for the housing suitability’s certificate to be issued.
. Converting seasonal labour permits to subordinated labour permits - Workers that live in Italy on basis of seasonal labour can apply to flows decree. Their employers need to fill a specific form in. In case quotas are available, workers will convert their permits here in Italy. Of course permits need to be valid when flows decree is applied to. In case workers are to be employed in a different region from the one they live in, we are quite sure that this will not be a problem.
