An important Padova court decree on family rejoinings

The decree concerns an extremely up to date matter, the one concerning family rejoinings.
We have already said that Bossi-Fini law restricts family rejoinings possibilities, especially when asking to rejoin with parents. Many people, who asked for rejoining beforethis law enforcement, had the application rejected.

The importance of this decree lays in the fact that the principle to which the set of rules in force when the administrative application was given in is the one to be considered is underlined and stated. Foreign citizens who received the authorization to parents rejoining before the new law enforcement have the right to it despite bureaucracy longness. Therefore the right to parents rejoining must be guaranteed even though Bossi-Fini law doesn’t provide for it.

As we have many times reminded of the correct interpretion and application of the law can only be affirmed and spread in case interested people appeal to magistrateship. This decree makes other legal proceedings possible and therefore the merit goes to the magistrate who rightly interpreted law but also to the migrant citizen who appealed to court.
