The Flow Decree 2008 does not plan the forwarding of new applications. Only the applications forwarded with the Flow Decree 2007 will be considered.
These are however the new bounds concerning the foreign employers. They should:
– Confirm their interest in assuming an employee;
– Hold the old residence permit (carta di soggiorno) or
– The European Communities long-term permit of stay (permesso di soggiorno CE di lungo periodo) or
– The residence permit for relatives of European Community-citizens or
– Have submitted the application for one of the above titles not later than the 10th of December.
The Minister of the Interior also specifies that the applications submitted by:
– Italian and UE-citizens employers, will all be admitted for assessment with no confirmation necessity;
– Legal persons (non-UE foreigners) resident in Italy, will be considered regardless of their residence permit with no confirmation necessity;
– Non-UE citizens employers, natural persons, holding only the permit of stay, will not be considered.
On-line confirmation procedure
The foreign employers should confirm their interest in assuming the employee and the possession of the appropriate residence permit, from the 15th of December and not later than the 3rd of January 2008. There is no timetable for the forwarding; the list holding the forwarding times of last year will be considered.
The procedure has to be carried out via web on the site of the Ministry of Interior, www.interno.it
The confirmation procedure does not require the installation of the program that has been used previously when filling in the applications. It can be executed completely online with no authentication on the Ministry site.
Insert the 12 characters of the identification code (codice identificativo) written on the application forwarding receipt of 2007 and the corresponding 32 characters of the code check (codice di verifica).
Insert the check characters and go to the next page.
Specify what kind of permit you are holding: old residence permit, long-term European Community stay permit, residence permit for the relative of an European Community citizen. Specify whether you are holding the title or you have submitted the application to get it (not later than the 10th of December).
Insert the number of the residence permit and the date of release or the number of the application forwarding receipt and its date.
Confirm that the information inserted and the check characters are correct, therefore confirm the application.
Print out the confirmation receipt containing all the data which have been inserted.
