In Lesvos, at the University of the Aegean Department of Geography, took place between 28 September and 1 October the international conference “Contested Borderescapes“.
Project Melting Pot Europe, in collaboration with the Human Side Project, has been called to exhibit its research work, carried out by Turkey (see the reportage about Sirian minor’s work “I don’t have a dreams”), continuing along the Balkan route to Italy.
“How many roads” is the collection of research experiences presented during the conference, presented by Andrea Panico and Elena Prestt.
Panico and Prestt, illustrated the violence that borders create; physical and psychological violence, dehumanization of individuals, exploitation of child labor.
